I am being sent home with the label "health" issues, but i have been cleared by two different doctors. One of the two was stateside and I was also cleared here in theater; however, my unit is still sending me home less than two months into deployment. Does anyone know how i can get sent back to the combat zone after returning home? I really want to go back because this will be my last deployment before i get out the military. Please any help would be appreciated.

Is there anything I can do? I'm a SPC(P) and my branch manager is notoriously unreachable. I risk losing my family if I uproot them and move them to Wiesbaden, only to uproot them again and move them to Bliss. My wife and kids are German, and they are thinking that if I get sent back, they might stay in Germany!

I just signed away another four years of my life. I really do deserve better than this! Can anyone please advise?

I was wondering if anybody whoem was stationed in Germany know anything about the Big Red One Patch, I am know stationed in Ft. Benning Ga., I walked into the local military surplus store and saw that they carried the ACU pattern (Big Red One Patch) the number was red not black. So I asked the store Manager about it since I have heard that IT is not authorized to wear with the ACU. I have yet to see any regulation that states that. Does anybody know of any regulation out there that says anything about this?

I am a recently disabled, non-military husband with a soon-to-be Army wife of 11 years and two great kids under 12 years old. I take meds for OCD/ADHD and do quite fine, I am very capable of taking care of my kids. my parents and my wife's parents are not so nice. it has been insinuated by both grandparents that they might try to seek custody if my wife joins the Army, because I am disabled. yes this is a very mean thing to do, but they are very selfish people set in the old ways of the male/female household roles. this is one of the reasons my wife insisted we move away last month to another state. I really hoped the Army would help us if this transpired, but I was told this is a civil matter.So instead of worring about deploment to Iraq, we have to deal with this. advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance.

Marksmanship Badge on officers Class A

Does anyone know what reg is regarding officers wearing mx badge on A's? My situation, I haven't qualified in a long time, no record of last qual, and have DA photo being taken for upcoming board. Wear nothing or something, and if so, what? I don't remember what I qualified its been so long ago. I know I have qual'd both expert and sharp, but don't remember which last. Any idea?

I was given a Honorable Discharge as a 2LT in the US Army. I was administratively discharged due to charges of sexual misconduct. I was USAR. I should have been RA, I was distinguished military student, number one in my graduating class. I understand as an RA Officer, I would have been entitled to present before a board. I was prior service, SSG E-6 Army. I have approx. 10 years of service. I am 56 now and would like to know if there is anyway possible for me to return to the military?

So, I was raised in a strong military upbringing. I was actually born overseas, thanks to my dad's posting. Then, a few month's after my dad's retirement in 2000, my mom joined the reserves, and a few years later, was shipped off to Iraq. Long story short, my dad supports me going into the military, and my mom is trying anything she can to get me to change my mind. I've been going back and forth about joining for years, but at this point, I think it's just my fear of the long term commitment I would have to make, more than anything else. Does anyone have any advice on deciding what to do? Or maybe you possibly have had a similar situation?

Need Secret Security Clearance

I know you probably get tons of criminal records questions, but I have wanted to enlist for a long time and am trying to make it happen soon. I was arrested for aggravated assault on a police officer but accepted a pre-trial program and completed the program, so I have no conviction for this felony, just an arrest record. The whole thing has made things so difficult for me. I was underage drinking and accept full responsibility for that, but in no way did I deserve the charge since the officer was injured by jumping to grab me. My lawyer convinced me to accept the program but I wanted to fight it all, but I accept what I have to deal with, and that is this arrest record for aggravated assault (again, no conviction). I know I can enlist in the Army still, but I hope to move into areas that require Secret Security Clearance, and was wondering whether this will make it nearly impossible for me to achieve this, and also if there is any way I can find an exception to the rule if it is impossible. This has been my dream for a long time, and so any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a question that I've got mixed answers for from nco's in my co.

I am a SPC(P) team leader, I have points and will get pinned in may.... but anyways here is the question.

say there are two soldiers, both are promotable(lets just say e4(P)) and hold the same leadership position. Soldier "Alpha" made time in rank say 1 month before soldier"bravo" did(this being promoted from e3 to e4). However, soldier "bravo" was boarded and given promotable status a month before the other did. When both soldiers are at promotable status does the succession of rank still stand with the soldier of an earlier date of rank or with the earlier P status?

that was probably confusing. I'm pretty sure I know the answer and that when all things being equal, duty position, rank and promotion status, that it comes down to date of rank, but want confirmation that my support channel cant give me.

not that it really matters in scheme of things but just curious. FYI I am the one with date of rank, with a year less service.... and I made points, well I will a i'm at pretty comfortable stance compared to aprils points... and hes shy of aprils still.
