my daughters room caught on fire at fort bragg this morning and the fire department came in and hosed down everything to include the electronics.  They first said it was a faulty outlet until they found a cigarette butt in the trash can then claimed that might have been the reason.

Who pays to replace all the electronics in the room.  I'm concerned that the gov't will try and blame her due to a butt and send her a bill for distruction of property instead of a check to replace the ruined items.
