There have been a number of stories of family members, usually brothers, or a father-son team, who are serving together in Iraq.  This latest story is a little unusual because BOTH parents, and a son, are all currently deployed to the same area of Iraq.  Sgt. Major Allen Pinckney Sr, Chief Warrant Officer Sezandra Pinckney, and Pfc Allen Pinckney Jr recently were able to come together for Sezandra's promotion ceremony at Camp Taji, Iraq.

Says Sezandra of the occassion, which was a very special one, “I count it as a blessing. And to see that so many people had the same emotional feelings as us was so heartfelt. I can’t express how great it was to have my husband and son here today to take part. The Army has been good to my family.”
