A brother and sister, age 12 and 13, have been raising money to help soldiers call home. Their program,
Cell Phones for Soldiers, is taking donations of used cell phones, which are recycled for cash. (Cash donations are also welcome, of course.) The fund is then using the money to buy calling cards to distribute to soldiers deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. This is a great program; not only have these kids raised $140,000 to date, but they have definitely raised morale for our troops. Great job!
